Arequipa & Colca Canyon

ITINERARY

Day 1: Arequipa - Colca Valley
Early morning after breakfast, we are going to pick you up from your hotel in Arequipa City and start of a wonderful journey to the Colca Canyon, visiting on the way Pampas Cañahuas( National Reserve of Southamerican Camelids: Vicuña, Alpaca, Llama and Huanacos). We continue the journey toward Tojra Pampa, a plane area where there are wild birds into swampy ponds; passing the crater of Chucura Extinct Volcano up to Pata Pampa summit known as the "Mirador de los Volcanes" ( 4850masl ) . Then we descend to Chivay View Point, from there we appreciate pre-Inca and Inca terraces. Arrival to Chivay at 13:00 approx. Lunch and Transfer to the selected hotel.
Free afternoon or visit to the hot medicinal termales "La Calera". At night we are going to enjoy diner and typical dances at Folklore show.

Overnight.

Day 2: Chivay - Condor's Cross - Arequipa
Early breakfast in the morning to begin their journey to the Cruz del Condor, natural viewpoint where you can admire the magnitude of the Colca Canyon and the spectacular condor in flight. On returning to Chivay we stop at the viewpoints of Choquetipo, Antahuilque and church of the town of Maca to observe the baroque style of his altarpieces.
Visit the town of Yanque appreciate its beautiful church, named "Inmaculada Concepcion" and its stone streets among other attractions.
After lunch at a local restaurant, return to Arequipa, arriving to the hotel at 18:00 hrs. Approx.
